Water Conservation in Home & Business Landscapes

Our purpose, with the support of a horticultural program assistant, an irrigation technician, and an office assistant, is to provide University research proven information to residents so they may learn to reduce their usage of drinking-quality water for irrigation while maintaining attractive, healthy landscapes.  Our service to County residents includes:

• Irrigation/Landscape rebate program - partnering with Manatee County Public Utilities
• Education programs and workshops
• Displays at public events
• Office visits by appointment
• Special programs for groups
• FREE personalized site evaluations by the Mobile Irrigation Lab
