Water Conservation in Home & Business Landscapes
Our purpose, with the support of a horticultural program assistant, an irrigation technician, and an office assistant, is to provide University research proven information to residents so they may learn to reduce their usage of drinking-quality water for irrigation while maintaining attractive, healthy landscapes. Our service to County residents includes:
- Irrigation/Landscape rebate program - partnering with Manatee County Public Utilities
- Education programs and workshops
- Displays at public events
- Office visits by appointment
- Special programs for groups
- FREE personalized site evaluations by the Mobile Irrigation Lab
